1, Filling requirements and time
Newborn calves must eat the colostrum of menstrual calves. The best time is within half an hour and no more than 1 hour at the latest. Otherwise, if the calf gastrointestinal tract is in an alkaline environment, the growth and reproduction of beneficial bacteria will be limited by the inhibition of harmful bacteria, and the probability of causing calf digestive diseases and other diseases will be greatly increased.
2, Composition of dispenser
1. Gastric guide tube: the front end is thicker than the tube body, blunt, round and smooth, and is used for direct insertion into the esophageal groove of calves;
2. Colostrum bottle: with scale, used to hold colostrum; (or it can be replaced by plastic sheet);
3. Silica gel tube: 1cm in diameter, used to connect the gastric guide tube, and the distal end is provided with an interface to connect with the colostrum bottle;
4. Control valve: at the end of silicone hose near colostrum bottle, it is used to control colostrum flow and flow rate.
